Instructional Software for Health and Physical Education
This is the official site for the Instructional Software for Health and Physical Education Online Course via the Internet sponsored by Bonnie's Fitware, Inc.
This course is designed to introduce physical educators to standards-based instructional software. Participants will design their own standards-based lesson plans using a piece of software as a resource. They will learn class management strategies for using technology in the physical education environment. The participants will complete the course with a comprehensive understanding of the software available in physical education.
Participants will be able to:- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the software available in physical education.- Prepare a lesson plan using one piece of instructional software as a resource.- Describe class management strategies for using technology in the physical education environment.- Complete a detailed evaluation of one piece of instructional software.

For those taking the class for any type of credit - specifics will be explained as we progress through the course.
1. Attendance: completion of 6 online modules.
2. Complete a file of instructional software showing the alignments to national physical education standards or national health education standards.
3. Complete a detailed lesson plan that uses one piece of instructional software as a resource.
4. Complete a one-page paper describing three different methods for using instructional software in physical education.
5. Complete a detailed evaluation of one piece of instructional software.
