1. Did you copy the folder or files to your hard drive?
2. Which version (Mac or Windows) are you using? Are you using the correct software for your computer?
3. Did you unzip the files (files with .zip extension)? Macintosh - double click on the zipped file to unzip it. Windows - right click and select extract.
4. For Windows users - you also need to run the install program - you will see it after you extract the files. Make sure you are looking at the files that have been extracted. If you are looking at files in a zipped folder - you won't be able to run the install program.
5. Check the hardware requirements for running the software.
You can find the directions for each of these programs on the CD you received with your order in PDF.
Databases still failing to load to the handheld device, then:
1. On FileMaker Mobile (on desktop) - click on user and make sure your handheld is listed - if not click on reset user
2. Make sure you have added files inside FileMaker Mobile, so that they are available for download. When you click on browse - you will need to select "all files" to view the usr files (ones that download to the handheld)
3. Double click on the files after adding them to FileMaker Mobile - make sure "all users" is selected and under synchronization either "bi-directional" or "download" is selected.
